Brett Coffland

Brett Coffland is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under the Alliance affiliate, Evolution MMA.

Brett’s BJJ Journey:

2004: Started training at Curran Jiu Jitsu, under Brian Wells & Jeff Curran - earned his blue belt.
2010: Trained at Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu – earned his purple belt.
2014: Trained at Alliance, under Jason Sullins – earned his brown / black belt.

During his time as an instructor, he has competed, coached, and helped train numerous competition teams. In addition to this he has helped run training camps for professional MMA fighters, up to and including UFC fighters. Along with his BJJ experience, Brett, spent several years training in boxing, kickboxing, and Filipino knife fighting. Brett loves to coach and one of his greatest joys is to see his students achieve success with the things he has taught them.

If you’re looking to try something new or need a new gym, Levels is def the place to do so! I came in as a newbie and right away felt right at home, the group is super friendly and welcoming. Nobody makes you feel weird for not knowing as much as others and the ones who know more than you are always willing to teach you new things to get you started. My fiancé trains here as well and we have 2 kids who were looking to enroll soon! This group of people very quickly became my team and my family. Levels Jiujitsu has helped me build up my confidence in so many ways, I’m newly empowered And I encourage anyone and everyone to try give it a shot . Also ps. They’re pretty lax, when I started they let me borrow a gi and I got a free week of classes to see if I liked it before signing up.
